USES: Veneers, inlays, fine furniture, cabinetry, turning and flooring.
Similar
in color and grain to American Walnut.

USES: Historically used for canoe building and musical instruments. Currently used for furniture, cabinetry, doors, decorative veneers and curios.

GRAIN: Has a very fine grain that finishes to a velvety texture.
STABILITY: Dimensionally stable.
ORIGIN: Botswana, Zambia and
Zimbabwe.
USES: Historically used for railroad ties due to its natural resistance to rot. Currently used for flooring, furniture, cabinetry and high value construction. It is a heavy wood that is stronger than Teak and Maple.
